This is an awareness and fund raising campaign organized by the PR Final Year students of Han Chiang College in collaboration with the Malaysian Resource Centre for Hearing and Speech-Language (MARCHES).
The theme is to give more care and attention to those with special needs.
The objectives of this campaign are to raise awareness among the local community in order to enable early diagnosis, and to educate them about autism, hearing and speech-language impairment.
And personally, I think that the awareness of autism is wayyy too low in Malaysia in comparison to other more developed countries like the US.
It is extremely important to raise the awareness among the public and be more concerned with those that have special needs.
The event also hope to help parents learn about the symptoms and what they should do in order to diagnose if their child are one of those with special needs.
Simply put, they are special and should not be discriminated for being different.
And this is what the campaign is all about.
Raising awareness towards the importance of all these.
All profits from this campaign will be donated to the Malaysian Resource Centre for Hearing and Speech-Language (MARCHES).
