131006 Sector Focused Career Fair – Career Awareness by TalentCorp

Sponsored post.

Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) efforts of raising career awareness by hosting the Sector Focused Career Fair (SFCF) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) were deemed to be of great success. The two day event was held at the Dewan Utama Pelajar at USM.

Talent Corp and USM brought together more than 30 employers who offer great career opportunities for graduates with sector focused fields such as sciences, social sciences, healthcare. Leading employers such as Alliance Malaysia Berhad, Mattel (M) Sdn Bhd, Silterra Malaysia, Telekom Malaysia and so much more participated in the Career Fair.

It was an opportunity for graduates to be "fished" by the top employers and also a chance to raise awareness of the job opportunities out there.

The objective of the Sector Focused Career Fair (SFCF) is to contribute towards greater awareness and interest among young talents in dynamic career opportunities in Malaysia.

I personally think that Talent Corp is doing a good job in promoting and carrying out the activities such as holding career fairs and road shows. Moreover, I also hear about the SFCF on the radio while I go to work everyday.

You may check out the photos I took below, some of them have contact details of the employers.

I asked about the WWF out of curiosity as I was wondering what possible opportunities were there. Feel free to click all these photos to enlarge, so you can see clearly the information you need.
On a side note, I also got to know that Malaysia has about 500 tigers which is considered a lot, apart from being endangered, tigers are also important in the whole animal chain to "help" eat the smaller animals.

Guendeline was there as well. We also met another really young blogger, Samantha. Feeling super old....
